I found this one at the estate sale of an avid art (and small animal) collector in Kansas City

It is emblematic of paintings from Zimbabwe and Cameroon

but I love it just perched on the windowsill

There is wear to this box consistent with its age

Now, it would lend itself to a bunch of different creative uses, including sitting open on a desk holding pencils or pens, or just sitting closed, looking fabulous! It is in great vintage condition with a lovely patina, and measures 6. 5"x 2. 75"x3. 5.
